The Aim
The aim of the project is to strengthen World Heritage Education and intercultural dialogue through ASP schools in Arab States and Denmark.
The Content of the Project (summary)
The Project consists of the following elements
- Students from ASP schools in the participating countries make video presentations of WHE sites, events related to the sites, intangible heritage and potential future sites
- Online communication and dialogue based on the video presentations
- A Youth conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, for selected delegates from the participating countries
- Follow-up - future cooperation
The Youth Conference will take place in Denmark from Sunday March 6 - Saturday March 12, 2011.
The participants will be
- 16 students 15 - 18 years old and 8 teachers and 8 national ASP coordinators from Jordan, Libanon, Syria, Palestine, Iraque, Oman, Egypt and Bahrain.
- 16 students and 8 teachers from Denmark
The working language will be English.
