Dear colleagues

We hope that you have all come well into 2011 and that the new year will bring peace and prosperity.
The deadline for nomination of your delegates is now rapidly approaching.  Not later than January 10 you need to nominate the delegation for the Youth Conference consisting of four persons from each country:

Two students and two teachers or two students, one teacher and one asp national coordinator. We need the names to be able to book your airline tickets and to send you invitations, so you can apply for visas.

We have been asked, if it is possible to bring an extra participant, if you pay the extra expenses yourself. The answer is yes – that is possible – within the same deadline – the 10th of January.

The visa procedure is unfortunately quite complicated:
Invitation Form:
April 5, 2010 the rules for visa applications to Denmark were changed. Three forms are needed. First we (your hosts) have to fill out a special invitation form and send it to each participant and to the Danish Embassy or representation in each country.

Step 1: Attached you will find one copy of the invitation form. Poul Erik has filled out section 1 and 3 – 9. We kindly ask you to fill out (only) section 2 on the computer - one copy for each participant and return the four copies to Poul Erik This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . He will then sign all copies and send them to the Danish Embassies/representations.

Visa applications & supplementary information blanket:

Step 2: Next step is for each of the participants to fill out an application for a Schengen visa as well as a supplementary information blanket. (We have attached both documents.)
To facilitate the process we attach a list of Embassies/representations, where you can see, where you can apply for visas.

The third and last deadline is February 15. Before the deadline you and your students must
:
9. Research - How to Nominate
10. Explore and Nominate
11. Present your Nominated Site

Dear colleagues

There are already Palestinian and Danish students who have registered and some have even started working on www.comfu.org

However as we have realized that many countries in the Middle East have summer holidays until the middle of September we have decided to move the first deadline to October 15 where we expect you and your students to have registered and created your personal profiles.
